Day 1: Addis Ababa – Awash National Park
Depart from Addis Ababa and drive east through the Ethiopian Rift Valley, heading towards Awash National Park, a vast expanse of wooded savannah, dominated by the imposing Fantale Volcano (2,007m).

Stop at Lake Basaka, a stunning spot known for its aquatic birdlife and dramatic landscape shaped by the shifting waters of the lake.
Arrival at Awash National Park:

Day 2: Awash National Park – Addis Ababa
