Day 01: Addis Ababa – Lalibela
Fly to Lalibela with Ethiopian Airlines. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and lunch.
In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Lalibela’s awe-inspiring rock-hewn churches, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Overnight: Hotel in Lalibela

Day 02: Lalibela – Highland Excursion & Second Group of Churches
Morning Options:
Option 1: Hike or mule ride to Mount Asheton, home to a 13th-century rock-hewn monastery and offering panoramic views over Lalibela.
Option 2: Drive to Yemrehanna Kristos, a remarkable cave church that predates the churches of Lalibela and showcases early Christian architecture set in the scenic Ethiopian highlands.
Afternoon:
Continue your journey through Lalibela’s sacred heritage with a visit to the Southeastern Cluster of churches, each carved with unique features and rich history.
Overnight: Hotel in Lalibela
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 03: Lalibela – Addis Ababa – Departure
Fly back to Addis Ababa via Ethiopian Airlines. Upon arrival:
Optional: Enjoy a half-day city tour of Addis Ababa, including highlights like the National Museum or Holy Trinity Cathedral.
In the evening, attend a traditional Ethiopian dinner featuring live music and cultural dance performances.
Transfer to Bole International Airport for your international departure (if scheduled for late night).
